California Climate Credit Arriving this Month

Happy Earth Month! April is all about celebrating our planet—from beach cleanups to blooming gardens—but did you know it also brings a little bonus for your utility bill? The California Climate Credit arrives this month, putting some green back in your wallet while supporting a cleaner energy future. This biannual credit comes from California's Greenhouse Gas Cap-and-Trade Program, which incentivizes utilities in California to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.

CleanPowerSF Provides 100% Renewable Electricity to San Francisco Customers Two Years Early

SAN FRANCISCO – For the first time in its history, CleanPowerSF delivered 100% renewable electricity to all 375,000 customers on its default Green service in 2023. This historic milestone, achieved two years ahead of the City’s Climate Action Plan target, was made possible through an energy mix of solar, geothermal, wind and hydroelectric.
