We believe all San Franciscans should have access to affordable, clean electricity. As a not-for-profit power provider, we set our rates based on the cost of getting power to our customers. We invest the money we collect back into our services and programs that serve our local community.
To provide predictability for our customers, CleanPowerSF updates its electricity rates annually every July 1. Our next rate update will take place on July 1, 2025.
All proposed rate changes are reviewed, discussed, and adopted through a public process. For more information about our public rate setting process and when new rates will be adopted, visit sfpuc.gov/powerrates.

SuperGreen is about $3 more per month for residential customers, and about $12 more per month for small commercial customers (compared to CleanPowerSF’s Green product).
