Clean energy makes a difference and so do stable rates. With CleanPowerSF you get both.

We believe all San Franciscans should have access to affordable, clean electricity.

We update our electricity rates each year through an open and fair public process.

As a not-for-profit power provider, we set our rates based on the real cost of getting power to our customers. We put money we collect back into programs that serve our local community.

If you are a CleanPowerSF customer, you will continue to see savings on your electricity bill due to lower CleanPowerSF generation rates compared to PG&E.

  • The average CleanPowerSF residential customer will save $8 per month.

  • The average CleanPowerSF small business will save $47 per month.
